Liberty Tana Lawn – Buttercup
– A bright and cheery juxtaposition of space, colour and form, Buttercup was redrawn from a Liberty archive design originally created in 1965. The design appears as a geometric at first glance – if you look a little closer, you’ll see bold flowers blooming within its complex network of bands and stripes. This multi-layered and dynamic print creates an optical illusion by blending geometry with pops of colour.

Liberty Poplin Cotton - Darnley Park - Tiny fabric swatches of this flowing paisley pattern first appeared in the Liberty archive books dating from c.1904, before being redrawn in 1971 and more recently revived in the 1990s and early 2000s. Incorporating very intricate paisley motifs, the curved leafy shapes adorned with tiny ornate flowers glide over a delicate lacy backdrop.
Liberty Poplin Cotton - Spaceman - Paying homage to typography to the Liberty archive, this design focuses on creating letters from an absence of detail – the letters are formed from the pattern of the lines connecting them. Stars and planets are scattered among the letters to add to the otherworldly celestial theme. Drawn in fine liner pen, this one-colour design creates a mesmerising texture.
Liberty Poplin Cotton - Jacqueline’s Blossom - Pops of bright flowers sparkle like tiny fireworks within this charming ditsy pattern. Adapted from a Liberty archive print originally created in 1967, Jacqueline’s Blossom features a field of scattered daisies and primroses, simplified through a monochrome hue and graphic outlines.

Liberty Poplin Cotton - Rosalina - Painted with tiny coloured brush strokes and dashes, Rosaline is inspired by an artwork found in the Liberty archive. Glamorous and elegant flowers move in an upward motion through undulating trails, while their textures give the impression of needlework or embroidery techniques.
